My story

Meet Hammy (aka Bean) Divorce is hard. Hammy didn’t sign the papers, but somehow he still ended up single. At 5 years old and a solid 90 pounds of pure hunk, this gentle giant is now ready to enter his next great situationship. We’re talking emotional support dog who also happens to look like a weighted blanket. Energy and Personality Hammy is low-energy, low-drama, and high-vibes only. He’s all about comfy beds, stuffed toys, and sticking to a routine that doesn’t involve chaos or surprises. He’s been loved, and it shows - he’s sweet, soulful, and just a tiny bit sensitive (but like, in an emotionally mature way). Training and Behavior Hammy’s got the basics down. He listens well, doesn’t destroy things, and has that “I’ve been through some things but came out wiser” kind of calm. He does best with adults or older kids who respect his need for chill. Loud, sticky toddlers might not be his vibe. Social Life He adores new people and is very into being admired (relatable). He’s still working on feeling totally secure around other dogs - like, he wants to be cool with them, but his anxiety hits sometimes. Give him time, maybe a good playlist, and some gentle guidance, and he’ll get there. Best Home Fit If you’re into cozy nights, mutual healing, and low-impact walks where nobody’s in a rush, Hammy is your guy. He’s looking for someone who “gets it” and won’t ghost him. No catfishing. Just love and snacks.
