My story
About 4 years ago, PHS received a gift card from Avery’s Pawsitive Change. It came with a letter, explaining who Avery was and about her mission. Diagnosed with cancer at 13 years old, Avery had a passion to help animals in need and founded Avery’s Pawsitive Change to establish a pet food pantry as well as sending out gift cards to shelters all over the U.S. You can read more about Avery and all of the amazing things she has done for the animal community on her website: www.averyspawsitivechange.comRecently, Avery received the unfortunate news that she was being sent home on hospice. We would like to honor Avery by naming one of our newest dogs available for adoption after her. Meet Avery!!
