My story

Meet Felicity! She is a young brindle beauty with a bright spirit and a heart bursting with love. She’s the perfect mix of spunky, silly, and sweet, and she’s dreaming of the day when she can bring her happiness, joy, and loyalty into her forever home. From the moment you meet her, Felicity’s enthusiasm for life shines through—her wagging tail, joyful wiggles, and signature “happy stomps” make it impossible not to smile right along with her.At her core, Felicity is a people-loving pup who wants nothing more than to be by your side. She’ll happily follow you from room to room, settle at your feet while you work, or snuggle up against you when it’s time to relax. If you sit on the couch, don’t be surprised when she flops her whole body across your lap or curls up right next to you—she loves physical closeness and thrives on being near her people. When you leave the house, she’ll patiently wait for your return, and when you come back through the door, she’ll greet you with her happy stomps of pure joy.Felicity’s playful energy is one of her most charming qualities. She adores zooming around the yard, getting her wiggles out with bursts of speed that show off her goofy, athletic side. Tug-of-war is one of her specialties, and she’ll proudly prance around with her rope toys before inviting you to join in on the fun. Chew toys and bones keep her happily occupied, and she even has a taste for special “treats” like cantaloupe and ice cubes. After she’s played to her heart’s content, she’s quick to transition into cuddle mode, melting into her people and snoozing peacefully with her head resting on them.When it comes to manners, Felicity’s foster family has nothing but praise. She is completely house-trained, has never had an accident indoors, and doesn’t chew on anything other than her toys. She’s also crate-trained, though she’d much rather be right beside you. Felicity knows “sit,” has a reliable recall, and patiently waits while her harness is put on for walks. She’s respectful around human food, too—though she’ll happily accept a taste if you’re willing to share. Her eagerness to please makes her a wonderful companion who’s both fun and easy to live with.That said, like many young, energetic pups, Felicity is still polishing up a few things. She can get jumpy or mouthy when she’s overly excited, she simply loves playing and being involved. On leash, she may pull a bit, but she has been working on her leash manners with her foste
