Meet Moravia! This petite lady weighs just 33 pounds, but don’t let her small size fool you—she’s full of personality. Moravia knows “sit,” loves treats, and has a playful habit of hopping up onto benches, stumps, or any elevated surface that catches her eye, always ready to entertain with her silly antics. She’s also a total cuddle bug who loves to lean in close for belly rubs and pets. In the play yard, Moravia truly shines—she enjoys working on her basic commands and often sits automatically before being asked, eager to please and engage with her person. She adores playing with toys, zooming around the yard, and seeking out affection at every chance. Moravia is also housetrained at the shelter, making her a wonderful companion ready to bring joy to her forever home.Moravia has also had the chance to go on several Dog Day Outs, where she proved what a happy, adaptable girl she is. She’s explored lakes and trails, spent time relaxing in a volunteer’s home, enjoyed a pup cup on an outing, and even visited a dog bakery! Her favorite parts included long walks, riding contentedly in the car, and soaking up every opportunity for snuggles, kisses, and treats. Volunteers describe her as curious, friendly, and lovable, always showing off her “sit,” playing with toys, and being wonderfully sweet with people of all ages. These adventures highlight both her playful, energetic side and her love-bug personality—she’s just as excited to explore as she is to curl up close with her humans. She’s a pretty easy walker, only pulling a bit here and there, and she’s got a smile that could light up any room. Whether you’re looking for a sweet sidekick or a little adventurer, Moravia’s ready to bring joy to your life.Moravia has met other dogs at the shelter, and she is a gentle girl who does best with polite friends. She did well when interacting with small dogs, but like with any pup, she may need to meet potential doggie roommates to ensure it’s the perfect match.I`m a VIP because I`m still learning, and the shelter can be a tough place for dogs like me to shine. But I’ve got a whole team cheering me on!Here are a few things the staff and volunteers are helping me with:• Learning to channel my extra energy in fun, healthy ways• Learning to make the right dog friends at the right pace• Picking up manners and basic cues• Getting more comfortable with rest time in a crate or other safe spaceIf you`re patient and
