My story

Benjamin is ready to start life fresh in a loving home - for keeps! He`s only 8 months old and about 40 lbs. He`ll be a large dog when he finishes growing up, and a shelter is no place for a puppy to do that! Benjamin was found abandoned in the heat, tied to a sign in a vacant lot. This sweet pup could take a moment to trust again, but who would blame him? Could you be the one to show him what a great dog and person relationship looks like? He`s ready for a `do-over` - his next chapter is on the journey to happily ever after. Benjamin is still young and will likely need a little training to learn how to be the best `Good Boy` around. Like all our dogs, Benjamin will need to meet future canine companions before going home. Our shelter staff will lead their introductions in a safe environment to see if they are compatible. Benjamin is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and ready for a loving forever home! Benjamin is currently living in a foster home, email foster@kcpetproject.org to meet him!
