My story

Meet Sophie, a sweet 6-year-old girl with the most soulful eyes and gentle spirit. Found as a stray, we don’t know anything about her past, but what we do know is that she’s ready to start a brand-new chapter with a family who will love her for the rest of her days. Sophie is currently feeling a little overwhelmed by the hustle and bustle of the big, noisy shelter—but with a little time, patience, and TLC, we know her true personality will shine through. She’s a loving soul just waiting for the right person to help her feel safe and cherished. This lovely lady is also looking for a little support on her journey to shed a few extra pounds—something she’s more than willing to do with a mix of gentle walks, healthy treats, and encouragement from her forever family. Sophie would do best in a calm, adult-only home. Sophie can’t wait to trade in her shelter kennel for a cozy home, a soft bed, and all the cuddles she can get.
