My story

Garland is a dashing white and orange kitten with a big personality and a name that pays tribute to the legendary Judy Garland. Like his namesake, he knows how to steal the spotlight with his charm and charisma. Friendly and affectionate, Garland loves meeting new people and makes fast friends with just about everyone. He’s full of typical orange cat energy—bold, silly, and always ready for an adventure. Whether he’s racing around after toys or curling up for snuggles, Garland brings joy and laughter wherever he goes. If you're looking for a playful kitten with star power, Garland is your guy! Meet and greet/adoption appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt! DON'T FORGET! Cats often do better with a friend! All our cats and kittens have an "Adopt one and the 2nd at half the adoption fee!" bonus!!! Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances. Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.
