My story

Meet Bandit! Breed: Chiweenie Age: 10 years&#226&#154&#150&#239&#184&#143 Weight: 7.5lbs Good with: Adults and older kids (12+), all dogsBandit is a 10-year 7.5 pound utterly magnificent sweet and loving black Chihuahua mix. He recently had blood work and a dental. He only had 4 teeth left, 2 pulled so only lower canines remaining. He came through it like a champ, so proud of him. He is totally house and crate trained. He gets along with all the other dogs in his foster home, male and female, big and small. He is quiet as a mouse, you hardly know he is even around. He can be a little skittish but he does not bite. Due to his age it is preferred he go to a home with a yard and 2 legged people who work from home or can take him to work with them, or retired so he is not alone. Bandit does okay in a crate but we do not want him to live in a crate now at this time of his life. He does like to cuddle on the couch and sleep with his 2 legged people, but he is okay with a bed on the floor too some of the time. He gives the softest, gentlest kisses, so dang sweet. He will do best in a family with no small children. If you can give this superb little man a safe and secure home with unconditional love for the rest of whatever time he may have left, please fill out an application for a meet and greet. Bandit could most surely have many many years ahead of him, and we believe with all our heart he has a very precious long life ahead of him, he oozes pure sweetness and joy. We will find his forever lasting home that he is so deserving of. Bandit will your breath away.Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. His adoption fee is $100. If you are interested in adopting a CAWS pet, please fill out an online application at http://caws.org/adoption-application If you are interested in adopting a CAWS pet, please fill out an online application at https://caws.org/adoption-applicationAugust 2, 2025, 6:16 am
