My story

Dog name: cass noelle Breed: mixed Sex: female Age: 2.5 years Medical Needs: none Housebroken: yes Crate Trained: yes, cass goes in with a treat when we leave, sleeps in there at night, and eats in her crate Good in car: a seatbelt restraint is recommended as she likes to pace side to side Good on leash: yes with a prong collar as she is strong and pulls, but with the prong, walks are so enjoyable Energy level: medium to high. she likes to be busy. so as long as you’ve given her a job/task, she’s in heaven. but if she’s bored, she’s gonna let you know Need a fenced yard: not needed but she would need a few good long walks/sniffaris a day for physical and mental exercise. she LOVES her outside time. Dog friendly: yes with slow proper introductions. she currently resides with 5 dogs and gets along with all of them in various sizes from 25 pounds up to 125 pounds Cat friendly: yes, she matches their energy. we have a playful 8 month old kitten which she enjoys chasing and tumbling with. we also have an old cat that likes to be left alone and she sniffs him and keeps it moving Kid friendly? yes If yes, youngest age? children 8 or older and with proper supervision. she wants interactions to be on her terms early on in the relationship. cass doesn’t like to be caught off guard or when people she doesn’t know reach for her. she will seek you out when she’s ready to take the relationship to the next level and be bff’s. so kids need to be old enough to understand that steady wins the race with this gal. coming in locked, loaded and rarin to go will not fly with this pretty girl. she currently lives with 5 children from ages 9-17 and has been around my 2 granddaughters aged 8 months and almost 3, and there have been zero issues or concerns. Special traits that make your foster special or what we need to know about them: cass noelle is an extremely sweet girl who needs a person/family that will keep her active and provide structure, boundaries and a routine for her. she loves to play with stuffies or balls. she will run and chase the ball when thrown to her, but bringing it back is hit or miss, but we’re working on it. she will gently take treats and loves all food. cass enjoys being with her people. if you’re looking for a pet to help you meet your step goal daily, or burn some extra calories, look no further. Foster’s location: millsboro, de Application can be found here: Https:// www.grrde.org/adoption-application (If you already have an approved application on file, email GrassRootsDE@gmail.com and ask the app team to pull your application) ##2453722##
