My story

Meet Bobby 7 months old | Neutered Male | Jindo Mix | Weight: 9.1kg (20 lbs) Rescue Story We originally visited the city pound to rescue a sweet brindle mama dog—but tragically, she had already been euthanized. Her puppies had all been adopted—except for one. Left all alone, Bobby was the last one remaining, and we couldn’t leave him behind. Personality & Socialization (People) Bobby is incredibly affectionate—he doesn’t just love his people, he admires them. He warms up quickly, even to strangers, often flopping over to show his belly after just a couple of treats. He allows belly rubs, baths, cuddles, and being picked up with no issues. In his foster home, he follows his caregiver everywhere like a little shadow, always eager to be close and connected. Social with Dogs Bobby is playful and friendly with all dogs, big or small. He especially enjoys the company of older dogs or similarly aged pups and initiates play with both familiar and unfamiliar dogs. His easygoing nature makes him a great companion at the dog park or in multi-dog households. Social with Cats Bobby spent his early months with cats and got along well with them. On walks, he may show curiosity toward cats but will calmly move on when guided. Energy Level Moderate. Bobby enjoys his outdoor adventures but also knows how to rest quietly afterward. He’s not hyperactive but loves to explore his surroundings. Walking Manners He sometimes pulls on the leash and tends to stop frequently to sniff. He follows his person well and is improving with leash manners each day. Home Life & Behavior • Rarely barks—though he might give a short alert bark if a stranger enters the home. • No food guarding with people or dogs. • Doesn’t suffer from separation anxiety and behaves well when left alone. • He entertains himself with his own toys and has never destroyed household items. • He’s quiet and polite—he doesn’t whine or bark to get attention. • Comfortable with both pee pads indoors and outdoor potty routines. • Still nervous about car rides and needs to be carried into the vehicle. Crate training is in progress, but he may whimper or cry when confined. Bobby is the full package: gentle, affectionate, playful, and polite. He’s ready to become someone’s loyal companion for life.
