My story

Please contact us to learn more!* Cadence is a sweet and soulful dog who's overcome a rough start and is now thriving in foster care. After undergoing major dental work due to past neglect, she’s fully recovered and ready for the forever love she’s always deserved. Cadence is mellow, house-trained, and loves nothing more than being close to her person. She has lived peacefully with dogs of all kinds, but she’s most focused on her human—quietly shadowing you around the house, soaking up every bit of affection. Cadence is: -Leash-savvy and a joy to walk -Great in the car and loves adventures -Calm, quiet, and a dream in the home -A+ camper and loyal travel buddy Though she enjoys exploring, loud or chaotic environments and small children can overwhelm her. She thrives in a calm, understanding home where she can build confidence at her own pace. If you’re looking for a devoted companion with a tender heart and adventurous spirit, Cadence is ready to be your best friend. Cadence is a 6-year-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. Her adoption fee is $200 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX testing, and spay. Cadence is also tested with other dogs and potty and kennel trained. She is not tested with cats, and would prefer a home without small children (as they overwhelm her). We would love for you to meet this dog and see if she might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals. We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!) Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed. Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525).
