My story

Meet Petal! This perfect girl is as a sweet as she is adorable. Petal found herself back at the shelter she was adopted from after her owner passed away. But she's settled into her new life as a Miri's girl, and girlfriend is thriving. She has already earned the distinction of being one of her foster mom's all-time favorite fosters, which is saying something because the competition is fierce! Petal is pure sweetness. She'll follow you around like a fluffy shadow, sleeps through the night, and is super smart. Like, learned-how-to-use-the-doggie-door-in-four-days smart. She only barks when she needs to remind her foster mom of something important (like dinner time or potty time), and absolutely loves time outdoors - which is good because she's on a diet and needs all the exercise she can get! Petal is a chonky 19 lbs right now and aiming for a svelte 13. It helps that she adores walks and exploring the backyard (she's already submitted a request for a forever family with a fenced in yard). She gets along well with other dogs but isn't into playing with them (she's got more important things to do, thanks). She bops all around the house and is a pro at stairs, loves going for rides in the car, and takes her eye drops like a champ. Petal is so ready to spend the rest of her life with a forever family who will love her as much as she loves them. Could she be your missing piece? Petal is approximately 11 years old and 19 lbs.
