My story

Meet Mallard! This sweet little man is applying for Best Boy in the Whole World and we're darn sure he's going to win! Mallard was found wandering the streets… matted to the skin, crawling with hundreds of fleas, raw from scratching, and wearing nothing but a filthy collar and a tag that reached no one. But now he's a Miri's boy and getting the love and care he deserves. He's settled right into his foster family and stolen everyone's hearts. He gets along beautifully with all seven of his canine foster siblings (from 10 lbs to 50 lbs) and treats all the cats like polite background extras. He’s a big fan of exploring the yard, a reliable eater, and very dedicated to his people ~ he’ll bark dramatically if you’re in a room he can’t reach, but if he thinks you’ve left the house, silence. He's also great on the leash and the best shotgun rider in the car - he loves feeling the breeze on his beard. Mallard is a world-class sofa snuggler, sleeps through the night in bed with the dogs and cats, and wears belly bands because he would like to sign his name on everything via marking. Otherwise? Totally house-trained, sweet as can be, and ready to be yours. Could you be Mallard's happily ever after? He can't wait to meet you! Mallard is approximately 10 years old and 15 lbs.
