Rudy

My story

Rudy is a sweet, affectionate, and well-behaved hound mix who is about 9 years old. He enjoys being outside, especially to sunbathe, and he loves cuddling with his people. He can be selective about his dog friends, so slow introductions are a must. He would love to be in a single-dog family, or with another dog who will give him space to get used to each other. Rudy does take Trazedone to help with his thunder and separation anxiety, and he's been through behavioral training. He would do best in a home where he can get lots of love and attention, and where he will have a safe space to feel comfortable and confident. There is no obligation to adopt by completing an application, however, we do recommend submitting an application as soon as you find an animal you are interested in. We review applications in the order they are received. Completed applications can be submitted online, or sent via email to adopt@jcapl.org, faxed to 919-300-5524 or delivered in person by visiting us at one of our adoption events on Saturdays at PetSmart in Garner’s White Oak Shopping Center.
