You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.   Meet Candace! How beautiful is she?!? She's a petite kitty, weighing in at about 6 pounds. She came into the shelter with a litter of kittens and they were all in very rough shape. One of them survived (Isabella), and she was a wonderful mother to her. She is very sweet and loving. We got her the medicine she needed, and she is thriving! She is getting used to her new foster home and we excited to see her personality blossoming. She is absolutely wonderful with other cats and kittens and would love a feline companion at her forever home.  This cat is spayed, up to date on distemper and rabies vaccinations, dewormings, tested negative for FIV/Felv, is on flea/tick preventative and ear mite preventative. Potential adopters can speak to the cats foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the cat. You can pick your kitty up 'curb side'. Cats can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *     DPR cats receive the following medical care prior to adoption:  Initial vet visit Spay or neuter (if cat is 6 months or older)Rabies vaccination (if cat is 6 months or older)Distemper vaccinationSNAP testing for FIV, Leukemia and heart wormBroad spectrum dewormers Monthly flea/tick preventative Ear mite preventative The above is standard for ALL cats in our care. But many cats we rescue also require some additional TLC prior to adoption, such as antibiotics, eye ointments, wound care, fungal treatment, x-rays, or various surgeries.  We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charity.
