He was set to be euthanized on July 4th but a foster stepped up and took him in. He is looking for his forever home! Nicknamed the Majestic Land Hippo, Dundee is a velvety gray gentleman with a marshmallow soul. He’s mastered the art of the derpy tongue flop, specializes in sidewalk lounging, and considers cuddling a competitive sport. He’s clingy, so don’t be surprised if you wake up with his entire body resting on your chest like a weighted therapy hippo. Dundee is incredibly dog-friendly and would thrive with a confident canine sibling or as a spoiled only child with plenty of doggy playdates. He’s not a fan of cats. Honestly, he thinks they’re suspicious, and frankly, he’s got better things to do (like chasing squeaky toys or pretending to be a lapdog). Leash walking? We’re working on it. Sometimes he heels like a show dog, sometimes he pulls like he’s late for dinner. But he’s smart, treat-motivated, and generally eager to please, especially if there’s a couch reward at the end. If your dream dog is equal parts gentle, goofy, and gloriously rotund, Dundee is waiting to become the best friend you never knew you needed.
