Because of this, he is a bit shy when meeting new people. The way to his heart is to offer lots of positive interactions and patience while he warms up to you. He will need to be kept in a small, quiet room as he discovers his new home and be allowed to go at his own pace. He's looking for a quiet home, without the hustle and bustle of dogs or children, where he can have ample time to adjust. Having another social cat in the home may also help him to feel confident! Just think of the special bond you'll share because you helped Kris come out of his shell! Don't forget to bring a top loading cat carrier for a safe ride home!
