My story

Hi! My name is Bear! I prefer to be called Baby Bear! I’m a lab mix and only 8 weeks old. I’m shy at first; however I love to be held, and with patience, I’m the sweetest boy. I love other dogs and I love to explore. I’m also very funny and have a lot of personality once I warm up to you! It doesn’t take long….oh, and did I say I love to snuggle and be held? My favorite thing is to float in a pool--just look at me relaxing! ***PLEASE NOTE*** This pup has not yet been altered and requires an extra $100 spay/neuter deposit. JCAPL will pay for the procedure at a partner clinic and once completed, the deposit will be refunded to the adopter. However, a non-local adopter is required to pay for the spay/neuter at their own veterinarian by a specific date. After proof of the procedure is provided, $50 of the adoption fee will be refunded with the deposit. *** Are you interested in adopting this dog or another JCAPL pet you have seen? You'll need to start by completing an adoption application, available online at our website: www.jcapl.org. There is no obligation to adopt by completing an application, however, we do recommend submitting an application as soon as you find an animal you are interested in. We review applications in the order they are received. Completed applications can be submitted online, or sent via email to adopt@jcapl.org, faxed to 919-300-5524 or delivered in person by visiting us at one of our adoption events on Saturdays at PetSmart in Garner’s White Oak Shopping Center.
