You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Rougaroux is a happy, high-energy young pup who is sweet and entertaining. He appears to be a mix of different breeds, and has the disposition and traits that go with a Labrador blend. He’s housebroken and confident, and would love to learn some new tricks from his future family! He gets along great with other dogs, of any size or gender, and has been terrific meeting new people and older children. He loves his toys and going for a swim, and he will eat any food offered. This happy boy is content both indoors and outside. He’s expected to top out at 60 - 70 pounds when full grown. Rougaroux’s ideal home will have a 5’ fenced in yard and a canine friend to learn from and to play with. He’s just a wonderful, typically sweet mixed breed and will be a great fit for any active family. - Written by M.M. If you call or e-mail you are reducing your chances of adopting this animal as we direct our time and energy to first serving those who apply. NYS Registered Non-Profit Rescue # RR102. National Great Pyrenees Rescue (NGPR) has been rescuing and adopting out Great Pyrenees since 2006. Our relationship doesn’t end with adoption, as we continue to support adopters throughout the lifetime of their dog. Our goal is to assess every application on its own merits. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority. July 26, 2025, 9:08 pm
