Coming in at an estimated 11 weeks of age, Rico may be a rookie, but he’s already showing all-star potential—thoughtful, easygoing, and playful in all the best ways. The adoption process consists of an application, reference checks, phone interview, and video chat with the pet and foster parent! The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, vaccines (rabies, HCP and FeLV with boosters), microchip with free lifetime registration, deworming, transport, combo test, and flea prevention! We are volunteers with a passion to reduce the stray population and unnecessary euthanasia in South Texas. According to Shelter Animals Count, an almost 100,000 cats and dogs were euthanized in Texas shelters. By transporting our adoptable pets to areas with fewer unwanted pets, they have a better chance of quickly finding loving homes, while also freeing up space in Texas shelters and giving more local animals a chance at life.
