My story

Meet Wisteria – A Calico with Cattitude and Charm Wisteria is a stunning calico girl with a big personality and plenty of opinions—just ask her, she’s happy to meow them to you! Independent and quirky, she’s the kind of cat who loves interaction but always on her own terms (classic calico behavior!). She’s energetic, confident, and playful—getting along well with her sisters, our resident cats, and even our puppy. She doesn’t enjoy being held, but she does enjoy pets and attention when she's in the mood. Wisteria would thrive in a home with another playful and respectful cat friend, but she could also do well as an only cat as long as she gets plenty of playtime and attention. Because of her independent streak, she’d do best in a home with older, respectful children who can give her space when she wants it. If you're looking for a spunky, sassy, and totally lovable companion, Wisteria might just be your perfect match. Wisteria is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting her, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org. Adoption fees are as follows: $155 for a single cat or kitten, $195 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.
