Nero has good doggy manners and gets along well with older kids and dogs of all sizes. Corgis have the personality of big dogs with short legs! - **Coat:** Soft and lustrous, but he does shed. Occasional baths and regular brushing are recommended to maintain his coat. - **Training:** He is currently learning basic commands. - **Potty Trained:** About 90%. He usually goes outside but occasionally uses door mats. - **Health:** Nero has had full bloodwork done. Tests for heartworm, fecal parasites, and ear mites were all negative. - **History:** Nero's mom was rescued from an illegal puppy mill. Shortly after her rescue, she gave birth to four puppies—Nero was one of them. - **Fostered in:** Fullerton, California - **Type of Home:** Any - **Crate Trained:** Yes, but he prefers sleeping next to his foster mom. - **Good with Dogs:** Yes - **Good with Kids:** Yes, with children over 5 years old - **Good with Cats:** Unknown - **Adoption Fee (non-refundable):** $850 All dogs are fully vetted, blood tested, tested for heartworm, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. **Our Adoption Process:** 1. Application reviewed by our Heart Board 2. Application approval 3. Meet and greet 4. Home safety check 5. Final approval and adoption Our volunteers and adopters mean the world to us!
