My story

Meet Wishbone! This beautiful boy is as gentle as he is large.  He had a rough start in his 1st  year, but despite it all, he remains sweet, affectionate, and playful.  He’s a little shy at first, but once he warms up to you, he’s a charmer!   Wishbone is potty-trained and crate-trained and knows a few basic commands.  Very dog-friendly, but hasn’t been around cats.  He enjoys playing outside and doesn’t dig in the yard.  He’s never tried to get out, but will need a securely fenced yard.  He can reach the top of a 6 ft. fence with his nose when on his hind legs. You will never have to worry about having unannounced visitors….Wishbone is always on duty! Inside, he enjoys playing with his toys and plays gently with his little 12 lb. foster-sibling so as not to hurt him.  He loves to play tug and will bring you and his foster-siblings toys to entice you/them to play tug with him.    He’s been around older children and did well around them.   He doesn’t bother anything he isn’t supposed to, chew up things, or jump on people. He rides calmly in the car, and doesn’t pull when on a leash.  He is always the perfect gentleman!!
