My story

Meet KibblesKibbles is a sweet, affectionate young pup who’s eager to find a forever home where he can be your loyal sidekick. He’s already showing off some impressive leash manners and has mastered basic commands like sit and down. He’s currently working on shake and continues to learn quickly with the help of our dedicated volunteers.He’s house-trained, uses a doggie door, and loves spending time with his person, whether it’s going for a car ride, playing fetch in the house, or just relaxing together.Kibbles is very social with people and is starting to show interest in toys, especially squeaky ones. He will do best as the only dog in the home, as he prefers not to share his food and toys with other dogs.He recently discovered the joy of the kiddie pool and is looking forward to more pool days. This loving and playful boy also gets the zoomies and keeps everyone laughing with his goofy personality. He’s still a puppy at heart and is working on polishing his manners, but he’s well on his way to becoming a wonderful lifelong companion.Please fill out the consult form and email debbie@azfriends.org if you would like to set up a meet and greet with himPlease note that ALL dogs and cats are available to the first home that meets the dog or cat that we feel is a good match. In order to help make the best match, we do want all family members (dogs and humans) to meet any potential new family member. Our adoption center hours are: Closed Sunday/Monday; Tuesday 10a-2p, Wednesday 3p-7p, Thursday 3p-7p, Friday 10a-2p, Saturday 10a-4p. We are located at 952 W Melody Avenue in Gilbert (zip code 85233).All animals are altered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, licensed (dogs). Cats tested for FELV/FIV. Dogs tested for Heartworm. All animals are available to the first family that is a good match, and if we have more than one animal who is a good match, there will be a lottery for all matches. Note that families must have come in to our adoption center and spoken with an adoption counselor prior to any lottery (when we have lotteries, they usually occur on Saturday mornings).
