My story

This stunningly attractive girl is Cookie, a Siberian Husky with a bit of Alaskan Klee Kai and Alaskan malamute thrown in for good measure, picked up by one of our officers on 8/15 and brought to the Mesquite Animal Shelter. She weighs 49 pounds, is about 3 years of age and is spayed. So much to like about Cookie. She walks quite nicely on a leash. She pottied immediately upon arriving into the shelter yard, which indicates she might be potty trained. She is active, alert, very conscience of all that is going on around her and is crazy about treats. She takes them quite politely. She is friendly and was more than willing to let me pet and love on her. Cookie was restless in the meet and greet room and seemed nervous. Her owners have not been diligent in keeping her home and she has been picked up by our officers and brought to the shelter on more than one occasion. Cookie is looking for that person or family who would take seriously keeping her safe and secure. That would involve having a high and secure fence as huskies tend to want to roam. This sweet little charmer is highly adoptable and is looking for just the right home.
