My story

This adorable youngster is Camry, an American Pit Bull mix brought to the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 8/20. Camry weighs 37lbs, is about 1 year old and is spayed. Precious girl has a laid-back, mellow personality with a moderate activity level. When I had her outside, she laid down in the sun, as though she was soaking up some “rays.” She also enjoyed rolling over on her back and stretching out. She is a friendly girl who stayed close to me and was perfectly fine with me petting her. She enjoyed treats and was happy to receive as many I would dole out to her although she did not seem to know the sit command. She walked very nicely on a leash. She was not interested in playing or enjoying toys but instead seemed to like just scouting out the yard as well as the room we did our photo session in. Camry dreams of living inside with her people in order to bond and be protected and comfortable. Can you assist in helping her realize her forever dream home?
