My story

Shiloh (currently 27lbs with lots of growing to do!) is a bundle full of energy! She’ll need an adoptive home that will be supportive and give her training and patience so she can be the bestest canine citizen she can be! Shiloh spent time with one of our fosters, who had this to say about her: “She knows how to ‘sit,’ we are working on ‘down’ and ‘stay’ and is mainly potty trained. Does okay with the crate, but not a huge fan but settles eventually. We went for a short walk around the block this morning and she did really well on leash. She loves people, and wants to meet everyone. She LOVES food – very food motivated, and I added a slow feeder to her bowl that I have because I am not sure she was chewing, just inhaling. I have noticed that she has bit her tongue a couple times while playing, but other than that, she is doing well.” Are you ready to bring a whole lotta fun into your home? Come meet Shiloh!This pet is eligible for an Adoption Audition! What is an Adoption Audition? It’s a 5-day, no-strings-attached, trial adoption period. You can take this pet home to try it out! Interested? Come to the shelter any time during open hours and talk to one of our Customer Care staff! Be sure to check the “shelter information” box on the listing to see if the pet is located at our Fairfax Campus (4500 West Ox Road, Fairfax) or our Lorton Campus (8875 Lorton Road, Lorton). Then, come in during our open hours!
