My story

Meet Kiwi! This sweet and gentle 10-year-old girl is full of affection and loves nothing more than soaking up attention and pets from her favourite people. Kiwi came into our care with a large wound that required surgical repair, but she's healing up beautifully and hasn't let it dampen her loving spirit. She has a calm, affectionate nature and would thrive in a home where she can be the centre of someone's world. Kiwi is still a bit unsure about how she feels around other animals, so a slow introduction-or a home where she can be the only pet-may be best. If you're looking for a loyal and loving companion, Kiwi may be your perfect match!Do you think you could be Kiwi's person? Here are some ways to find out: 1.) Visit our centre to meet this pet during adoption viewings Friday to Wednesday noon to 3pm, learn more about their ideal match, and apply to adopt in person; or 2.) Submit an online application adopt.spca.bc.ca and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit! Kindly note that due to the high number of applications and the availability of walk-in adoptions an online applicant would have to be available to come in for a meet within 24 hrs.
