HOW THIS ANIMAL IS WITH: CATS: Unknown as she’s been separated from other cats while with her kittens DOGS: Unknow but may be fine with proper introductions KIDS: Likely fine with respectful kids and proper introductions KNOWN LIKES: Cuddles and yummy wet food KNOWN DISLIKES: Still learning ABOUT THIS ANIMAL: Beekin was just a kitten looking for shelter when she made the choice to hide under a car with the engine still hot in Phuket, Thailand. When they found her, Beekin’s back legs and tail were completely furless, and her skin was badly burnt. The wound went all the way from her tiny thorax to the end of her tail. Beekin was found by a local resident in these awful, heartbreaking conditions. The pain she must have been in is unimaginable. Beekin was thankfully brought to safety at Soi Dog Foundation and received the urgent treatment she needed, which sadly meant she lost her tail. Today, Beekin has recovered from her devastating injuries, and though left with permanent scars, she enjoys lounging and playing with both human and cat friends. Found as an injured kitten in 2021, she’s grown up in the shelter, constantly looked over. This sweet girl has never known a safe and loving home, and we promised her we’d change that. Beekin really is the sweetest kitty, good with other cats or can also be a single cat. She just needs a loving, forever home.
