My story

This gentle giant is Bilbo! He arrived at the shelter as a lost dog on 7/17, and sadly, no one has come to reclaim him. The volunteers have enjoyed getting to know Bilbo and describe him as friendly and athletic. While he is excited at first to get out of his kennel, once outside he is gentle. He pulls a little on the leash, but that may be partly due to the fact that he spends most of his day in a kennel. If you're looking for an active new BFF to join you on hikes and walks, please come meet Bilbo! Bilbo is approximately 2 years old and weighs 83 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines and did test negative for heartworms. He will be neutered and microchipped upon adoption. Bilbo is waiting in run 827; his ID # is 11992. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
