My story

Meet Sarah! Sarah is a sweet female poodle mix who weighs approximately 8 lbs and is estimated to be around 2-3 years.She is currently in a volunteer foster home. She was found as a stray in poor condition—severely matted fur, overgrown nails, and noticeably underweight. Since arriving in our care, Sarah has been groomed, put on a healthy diet, and showered with the love and care she deserves. Despite her rough start, Sarah has shown nothing but resilience and joy. She’s a happy, affectionate little girl with a medium energy level and a big love for cuddling.Sarah gets along wonderfully with other dogs, is cat-friendly, and is great with children—she truly enjoys being surrounded by people and animal friends. Because she’s a speedy runner, a secure, fenced-in yard is highly recommended for her safety.Sarah will require regular professional grooming, typically every 6–8 weeks. For a dog her size, grooming costs usually range from $40–$50 per session.She is currently part of our Foster-to-Adopt program, which means she can join your home as a foster while she completes her veterinary care—including vaccinations, spay surgery, microchipping, and heartworm testing.If you already have a dog at home, please schedule a meet and greet appointment to ensure a good match.
