Meet Duchess, a stunning 1-year-old Redbone Coonhound weighing 52 pounds. With her sleek red coat and soulful eyes, Duchess is as beautiful as she is energetic.Duchess was surrendered alongside her brother Duke and is now ready to find her forever home. True to her hound nature, she’s a curious girl who loves to explore the outdoors—nose to the ground and tail wagging! She’s strong on leash and will eagerly follow a scent, so an adopter ready to embrace her tracking instincts is ideal.This sweet girl is:Dog-friendly (she lived with her brother and enjoys other dogs; meet & greet required)Cat-curious (she’s being fostered with a cat and wants to play—supervision advised)Crate trained (sleeps in her crate at night)HousetrainedAffectionate and loving with peopleDuchess is looking for an active family that enjoys outdoor adventures, long walks, and plenty of playtime. She excels at physical activities and would thrive in a home with a fenced yard or access to nature trails. Due to her energy level, we recommend a home with older children.Duchess is spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, and up to date on all vaccines. Her adoption fee is $160.
