Alina

My story

Alina is apx 8 years young and a short stout 15 pounds. She was left abandoned on a front porch tied to a post. She was timid when she first arrived, scared, fill of fleas, dirty and dehydrated . It did not take her long to become the sweet shining star she is today. Alina had a dental. She lost all of her back teeth on both sides of her mouth. All she has left are her front teeth. Her teeth were terrible. She also had a very large memory tumor that has been sent out to pathology. We do not have the test results back yet, but would like to start the process of finding Alina her forever family. She deserves that. Alina is one of those dogs that is so grateful to be rescued and you can tell. She is so happy to have a bed, blankets, doggy friends, attention, and someone to dote on her. She is great with cats and dogs and well mannered children. She is shy at first so preferably middle school age children and up unless this is a very dog savvy family. Alina does not have a mean none in her body. She is gentle , kind, not a big barker, is doing well here at the ranch with potty manners. She smiles, wags her tail, loves life, people, attention, she is such a bundle of joy. To see how she came in, huddled in a corner shaking, head down, no eye contact, to looking at her a just 4 weeks later to be a prancing, dancing, smiling, wagging happy dog, brings us all joy every day. Even our vet office commented in what a sweet dog she is and how well mannered she is. She had a hard day with a full dental, blood work, tumor removal , and spay through it all she was still so sweet and gentle and loving to the staff. The vet called her a good girl several times.
