What my friends at ACC say about me:I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe.I am playful and cute!Cheek and chin scratches make me so happy!I am finding the shelter a little overwhelming, but when it's just you and me and some peace and quiet you'll see what a love bug I am.I am looking for a home with a patient person.I would do best in a home without very tiny humans, although I could be open to older human children once I meet them.I'll need daily interaction with you as I get used to my new life.A volunteer writes: Our sweet Luna is a young un', only about a year old. When I opened her kennel she was intrigued but seemed a bit hesitant which I think can be attributed to the busyness of the shelter. I would be a bit overwhelmed too if I were her! I started off with some treats which she gobbled up. She jumped down from her bed and accepted pets although I could tell she was feeling a bit timid and unsure, but she persevered because she is trying to be brave! I found that she appeared most content when she was on top of her bed, and that I saw her start to relax and actually lay down and roll over while I was petting her.
