My story

* 4 Little Paws is helping a Texas Animal Shelter by featuring a few wonderful dogs patiently waiting to find forever homes! Meet Tito... Hi there, I’m Tito! I’m a 7-year-old Terrier mix with a sweet personality and a love for life that just won’t quit. I weigh about 22 pounds, which is the perfect size if you ask me! I’m a friendly boy with all the manners you could hope for in a dog. I’m potty trained, crate trained, and even doggy door trained. I walk great on a leash, don’t get under your feet, and have a nice medium energy level. I love toys, pets, and butt scratches, and if you offer me a treat, I’ll show you my adorable little dance moves. Trust me, it’s a crowd pleaser. I get along well with other dogs and enjoy their company, but I’m not a fan of cats. I’ve been told that I’m pretty easygoing and independent, but when it’s time for fun, I’m happy to join in. My journey hasn’t been the easiest. I was found as a stray in 2022 and waited over a year at the rescue before someone adopted me. I thought that was my forever home, but after just a year, I was returned because my person moved out of state and left me behind, but I haven’t let it dim my spirit. I’m ready to give my whole heart to someone who will love me back forever. * 4 Little Paws is based in CT. We adopt in many different states along the East Coast. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. If you are located outside the states we typically adopt to, we have options to get the dog of your dreams to your location.
