My story

Meet Albert, a sweet and slightly shy Chihuahua mix who’s still learning to feel confident in the big world around him. Born around 4/30/25 and weighing just over 12 pounds, Albert is full of typical puppy energy—playful, curious, and always ready to make new friends. Though he can be a little timid at first, it doesn’t take long for his happy wiggles and tail wags to appear. Albert will do best in a calm, patient home with older kids who can be gentle and respectful. Like any young pup, Albert is still working on all his basic training, but he’s already making progress—he keeps his kennel clean, aside from occasional nervous or excited accidents.    With time, patience, and lots of love, Albert is sure to grow into a wonderful and loyal little companion. His minimum adoption fee is $350 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
