My story

Meet River – a stunning 1.5-year-old gray fluff queen with runway-worthy looks and a personality as unpredictable as, well… a river. Once living life on the outside, River is still figuring out the whole “indoor cat” thing. She’s a master of mixed signals—one minute she’s purring like a freight train and demanding attention, and the next she’s letting you know the royal petting session is over with a swift swat. She’s not being mean—she just likes her personal space respected, thank you very much. River is best suited as a solo cat—she’s not interested in sharing her throne. And because she can get overstimulated, she’ll need an adult-only (or older teen) home where her boundaries will be understood and honored. She's a total foodie (mealtime is sacred), a world-class purr machine, and she’ll need someone who’s up for keeping her glorious gray coat looking red carpet ready. In the right calm, cat-savvy home, we believe River will settle into a much more relaxed groove. Until then, she’ll be over here being gorgeous, dramatic, and unapologetically herself.
