My story

Meet Comso/Odin!!!Cosmo, also known as Odin, is a fun-loving 2-year-old husky mix with a charming, chunky build and a heart full of love. Recently owner-released, he’s great with dogs, cats, and kids, making him a wonderful candidate for a family home. Cosmo knows basic commands like “sit” and “lay down,” and he’s eager to please. While he isn’t crate trained and we’re unsure if he’s fully house trained, he’s already showing great potential. Like many young dogs, he has a tendency to chew on things, but with consistent guidance, that’s something he can grow out of. Cosmo would thrive in a home with plenty of space to run and play—he’s an active boy who just wants to stretch his legs and enjoy life with his forever family. Cosmo is HEART WORM NEGATIVE, UP TO DATE on vaccinations and weighs 101 pounds.Cosmo's Adoption Fee is $83 plus taxDogs are $115 and puppies are $110 unless otherwise noted. All cats and kittens are $75.00 unless otherwise noted. Our system automatically updates adoptable websites every two hours. Feel free to email or call us with any questions you may have. Our contact number is 270-887-4175. The shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30-4 and is closed daily for lunch from 12:30-1. Adoptions are done on a first come first serve basis for owner releases. Strays have a wait list.
