My story

Hi! My name is Skrimm and I’m at the Santa Barbara Campus. I’m a 1 year old male Pitbull Terrier who is eager for a new home! Skrimm, Slim Shady, Slim Jim, Tim- I go by many different nicknames here! And though my friends can’t agree on what my “perfect” name would be, they can all agree I’m the most perfect boy out here. I’ve lived with a dog and cat, I have playdates with my doggy friends, enjoy car rides, I love everyone who comes to say hi, and have done well with kids. I’m fully house trained, leash trained, know sit, shake, down, stay, and am eager to learn more! My previous family didn’t have enough space for a large dog and though I was primarily outdoors, I’d love to be someone’s indoor companion. I love playing with all kinds of toys, I particularly yearn for stuffies and sticks to gnaw on while I sunbathe during this summer heat. Basically I’m pretty well rounded with life and I’m ready for my forever home! I smile at my favorite people and if you bring me home, you just might see my award winning smiling teef. Interested in meeting me? Adoption Centers are open daily 12-4:30pm, closed Wednesdays. Adoptions are on a first-come first served basis. My adopters will receive a certificate for a free veterinary exam and our partners at Purina will provide a supply of food for my first few days at home.
