My story

Hi!  I am Jojo, LET’S GO!I am a typical young husky mixed breed doggo.  I love all fun, all the play, all the doggos, all the people, and all the snuggles.I am a pretty high energy little boy.  I will need an outlet to get my energy out if we are going to be a good match.  Fortunately, I love to play and am very good at my introductions to new dogs of all sizes.  I am respectful of the other dog, give a few sniffs, let them have a few sniffs and then I initiate play with a play bow.  When it comes to play style, I tend to let the other dog take the lead, I am perfectly happy to play along with their game.  I tend to be a little bit shy when meeting new people.  I like to give them a good sniff over to make sure they are not scary.  Fortunately, I move quickly from sniff-sniff to “I love you” let’s play or snuggle, you choose.I am a good eater and can freely eat without overeating.  I am also good with food and toy removal.  I don’t get possessive if you take something away, I just go looking for something fun or tasty to replace it.  So far, I have not done any inappropriate chewing, but my foster house is filled with lots of dog appropriate chewy things, so I have not been bored. So far, my Good Boy skills training is going well.  I am super food and affection motivated, and I just love my “training time”.  I am doing great with leash walking and get out to walk at least twice a day around the neighborhood.  I am also doing well with potty training.  If I am in my play pen, I run to the gate and get your attention when I need to potty.  Once the gate is open, I move quickly to the door to go outside.  If I am in my pen and must go potty, but you are not there to let me out, I confine my “accidents” to a small corner of my pen where the potty pad is located.  I am a very clean boy.  I am also working on my “off” and “sit” skills.  Both skills are coming along nicely, so we have added “down” (lay down) and “place” (move to a place and sit) to my lessons. If I sound like a good match for you, stop by any Rocky Mountain Puppy Rescue adoption event and ask for Jojo the husky boy.  Let’s see if we can make a good team and then LET’S GO! ##2461394##

If you have any questions or would like to adopt JOJO, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
