My story

Meet Red! Red is a striking red-and-white male Husky with captivating pale blue eyes and a gentle, well-mannered nature. Estimated to be around 5 years old and weighing 56 pounds, Red came to our shelter as a stray—but he’s clearly no ordinary pup.True to his Husky roots, Red loves to run and explore in our fenced-in play areas and isn`t shy about showing off his vocal talents with a signature “Husky song.” He has a medium energy level and walks like a true pro on leash—graceful, focused, and confident.Red would thrive in an active home where he can stretch his legs and enjoy plenty of playtime. We believe he gets along with other dogs, though a meet-and-greet is required if you already have a canine companion. His compatibility with cats and children is currently unknown.At the shelter, Red keeps his kennel tidy and has proven himself to be a real gentleman. He is currently part of our Foster-to-Adopt Program, which allows you to foster him in your home while we complete his vetting—including neuter, vaccinations, microchipping, and heartworm testing.Ready to welcome this elegant fellow into your life?
