Caligo

My story

Caligo was transferred to the NHSPCA from an overcrowded shelter in Texas. He is an extremely friendly cat who demands attention and will reward you with head butts, cuddles, and purrs when you give in to his demands. Caligo adores all kinds of petting but seems especially fond of neck scritches. He does not enjoy being carried around but he always wants to be around people and will likely follow you around like a dog. Caligo's unusual name forced us to Google it, and his shiny black coat leads us to believe that he was named after Caligo the Onyx Hippogriff from the Harry Potter Hogwarts Legacy video game. Apparently Caligo is also the Roman Goddess of darkness, the Void, and the Abyss, which would be fitting if this fine fellow was a female, but he is decidedly a boy.
