My story

Do you have a soft spot for feisty senior ladies with strong opinions, zero patience for nonsense, and just enough sweetness to keep you on your toes? Then pull up a rocking chair, because Little One is ready to rule your living room.At 12 years young, this fabulous calico queen has perfected the art of dignified sass. She’s not here to entertain you—you’re here to entertain her.She came from a home with another cat, but she`d now prefer to be the only feline in your life—or at least have a room of her own where she can side-eye others in peace.Little One will greet you with a soft meow and a little trot to the door every time you enter. She loves a good chat while looking out the window (neighborhood gossip is very important), and she’ll occasionally grace you with some gentle rubs against your legs. That’s your cue: you may pet the queen—briefly.Be warned though: this lady has boundaries. Pet her when she asks, or prepare for a polite but pointed “bap bap” to the offending hand. She’s not mean, just misunderstood... like most of our favorite grumpy grandmas.Little One enjoys the finer things in life: peace, quiet, windows with a view, and humans who respect her 4-foot personal bubble—unless she decides otherwise. Despite her grumpy granny vibe, she’s got a playful side too and loves chasing little puffball toys like a kitten. If you’ve ever adored a crotchety old lady who secretly loves you but refuses to admit it, you already know the magic of Little One.Adopt her and earn the love of a legend. (Eventually.)

If you have any questions or would like to adopt LITTLE ONE, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
