My story

Meet Sleepy, one of seven adorable pups born to our sweet mama Nala, who decided to make her grand entrance into motherhood right at our local animal control. Sleepy is almost 8 weeks old, weighs in at 11 pounds, and is officially ready to trade in his siblings for a forever family of his very own. Mama is a lovely Basenji mix, and dad… well, he’s a mystery. Could be a neighbor’s dog, could be a charming stranger just passing through – we’ll never know. What we do know is that Sleepy inherited all the cuteness and charisma needed to melt your heart on sight. He’s been raised with his brothers and sisters, so he’s got his puppy play skills down to an art. But unlike his more adventurous siblings, Sleepy is happiest curled up in your lap, soaking in snuggles and drifting off into a puppy nap.
