My story

Meet Gorda, a a gentle soul looking for a fresh start. Gorda is a sweet, medium-sized girl with a heart full of love—she’s just learning how to share it again. At 4 years old, Gorda was recently surrendered due to her owner’s illness, and while the transition has been tough, she’s doing her best to be brave. She can be a little shy at first and may take some time to warm up, but with a slow, gentle approach (and maybe a spoonful of peanut butter—her absolute favorite!), she’ll soon be leaning into pets and trusting you with her quiet affection. Gorda is calm, kind, and has a soft presence that makes her the perfect companion for a peaceful home. If you’re patient and ready to offer her the steady love she deserves, Gorda will reward you with loyalty, sweetness, and a whole lot of heart.
