My story

Introducing this stunningly beautiful, majestic, brilliant, wonderfully sweet girl named Maugrim. When this girl came into the pound everyone was so mesmerized by her beauty and her sweet yet very soulful temperament. There was something exceptional about her that everyone could clearly see, and though the pound was so crowded, everyone did everything they could to get this amazing girl out and to safety. Thankfully an incredible foster home agreed to take her in short term so she could get all of her medical care done while we work to find this girl an amazing home! She has now been to the vets and had all medical work completed! She is current on vaccines, deworming, heartworm test, preventative and has also been microchipped and spayed! She’s 18 months old and currently weighs about 60 lbs. We expect she may fill out to around 65-70 at full maturity. The vets believe is she’s likely white shepherd husky. She is officially ready to turn the page and begin her next and greatest chapter in life. From the moment she walked in to the pound, and this was reinforced when she walked into her foster home, there is something very special and remarkable about this girl. It’s not just about a high level of intelligence, which she clearly has, but it’s a wisdom about her that is incredible. She’s only 18 months old but she is a majestic old soul. She was reserved at first in foster care, enjoying getting lots of love but also paying attention to everything and taking it easy. As she’s blossomed she has shown that she genuinely loves not only human companionship but also the companionship of other pups. She is excellent in the house and reliably going potty outside, and has been an easy girl to take in and love. She’s enjoying the opportunity to play with new dogs and socialize with her own kind, as well as the comfort and joy of snuggling up on a sofa with a loving human. Dogs tend to bring out the more playful silly side of her, and humans tend to bring out the more mindful, loving, tender side of her seeking out companionship. Her beauty is incredible, she has spark in her eyes that is brilliant, and is so uniquely gorgeous, sometimes she looks like a majestic wolf you’d see strolling in the snowy woods from a storybook. She’s doing great on a leash and is truly an easy girl to have and love. She enjoys activities but hasn’t been demanding at all. She’s definitely wise beyond her years and looking for parents who will appreciate what an incredible girl she is and give her all the love in the world that she’s surely spent her life dreaming of. If this remarkable girl has stolen your heart and you’d love to have her by your side, please visit www.greatdivideanimalrescue.org and submit an application for adoption today!!
