My story

This ultra handsome, full of love sweet boy is Drake! Drake came to us after his parents went through a terrible break up and neither of them had secure housing or a stable position where they knew they could give him a good life. They felt absolutely terrible surrendering him, but wanted him to find the future with stability and comfort and things they just couldn’t provide for him. Thankfully foster parents with big hearts heard his story and met him and saw what a purely sweet, enthusiastic, grateful, loving boy he is and were happy to take him home until we are able to make his dreams of a stable, loving home come true! Drake is 12 months old and he is currently weighing 55 lbs. He has now had his medical work completed! He’s now current on vaccines, deworming, flea/tick/heartworm preventative, he’s been heartworm tested, and he’s now neutered and microchipped! He’s got everything done and is ready to find his dream home! This boy is the ultimate in social butterfly. He is on a quest for love every day. He’s enjoying playing with other dogs and it’s a wonderful way to exercise and get him all tuckered out! He’s been great with all of his doggy friends, and he’s tested well with the kitties too! He’s good with the cat he lives with and has been good with new cats he meets! (That said, he may try to play!). Drake is 100% friendliness and wears his heart on his sleeve. He’s never met a stranger and anyone he meets he would love to show love to, and hope that they may be the one to love him always! He’s excellent going potty outside and is just the most sweet, fun guy to have around. He will do great in a home with another active dog to play with or active parents who would love to take this guy hiking, or any other adventure! He greets everything in this world with the biggest cutest smile and his tail is truly always wagging. His outgoing nature shows how amazingly sweet this breed is and he can’t wait for someone to fall in love with him and bring his dreams of warmth, safety, adventure and family to life! Someone who can appreciate his pure heart, lively spirit, and tender sweet devotion. Drake has it all, and now he just needs to find his soul parents who will give him the future he’s always longed for. If this incredible boy is just who you have been waiting for, please visit www.greatdivideanimalrescue.org and submit an application for adoption today!!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Darling Drake, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
