My story

Introducing Holland! She was brought to the shelter on 7/10 because she was on a journey to find her way home and got lost. Sadly, no one has come to reclaim her. So she is on a very quick search for a forever home so she can feel safe and secure and never experience a loud, overcrowded shelter ever again. Holland is only 2 years old and weighs a mere 46lbs. The volunteers describe her as sweet, cute, a little timid, and obedient. She has a mild skin condition but with a proper food and much deserved baths, she will have her lovely coat once again. She is also a smart young lady as she knows to sit when asked and she may know more. Please take some time and visit with her in Run 852; her ID is 11806. She is waiting for you! Please help her find her way out of the shelter and into your heart, home and family. When choosing a forever pup, please, please make sure you have the space, time, energy, devotion, patience, love and lifestyle to ensure Holland has the best upbringing possible. Holland is current on vaccines, will be spayed and microchipped and tested negative for heartworms. Please take some time and schedule to meet this awesome kiddo and get to know her a little better. Holland is probably what you have been looking for all this time. She is patiently waiting for her forever family to save her life. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heart worm or combo test and a microchip.
