My story

Shelby is in need of a foster home while he awaits further medical treatment. As one of our seniors, he has had to make big adjustments. He came from a loving him where he was well cared for and he is frightened in this new, strange place. It will be exciting to see his true personality come out as he gains confidence in a home environment. Foster Reason: Awaiting dental surgeryFoster Time Frame: Shelby is due for a vaccine 7/27/25 and dental surgery 8/20/25.Foster time frame could be longer depending on future medical results and needs. Foster Care Plan: Shelby receives daily medication for pain management. He will have a medical consult upon pickup and the Operation Kindness Foster Team will supply all items necessary for a successful foster journey. Foster to Adopt Program: Shelby is available through our Foster to Adopt program, which allows pets awaiting or undergoing medical treatment to be placed with prospective adopters before they are made available for adoption.
