My story

Meet Scout!Scout is a 5-year-old, 79-pound gentle giant with a heart full of love. This well-mannered boy walks beautifully on leash, is house trained, crate trained, and already knows basic commands like sit and paw.Scout has lived happily with another large dog in the past and loves making new dog friends. He’s also done great meeting kids and has always been incredibly sweet and affectionate with them. Once he feels comfortable, Scout’s loving personality really shines—he’s eager to snuggle, give kisses, and share in playtime.With his lower energy, Scout is just as happy lounging for a nap as he is heading out for a walk or some playtime. He’s well-behaved in the home, enjoys his crate at night, and loves being around his people.Scout was brought to the shelter as an owner surrender, but he hasn’t let that change his happy, friendly outlook. He’s ready to bring joy, companionship, and plenty of kisses to his new forever family!
